Secure Email

End-to-end encrypted email services that protect your messages from surveillance and data mining.

Standard email providers like Gmail and Outlook scan your emails for advertising and store them unencrypted on their servers. Secure email providers use end-to-end encryption so that only you and your recipient can read your messages. Many are based in privacy-friendly jurisdictions (Switzerland, Germany) and cannot comply with mass surveillance requests. The trade-off is that encryption only works when both parties use the same service or PGP — emails to regular Gmail accounts are encrypted in transit but not end-to-end.
